Construction

The frame is of curved laminated timber beams each of 4 laminates bonded and finished in epoxy resin.

The timber beams are assembled with fabricated steel connectors with galvanised finish.

The overslung cover is of acrylic coated polyester (fire certificate).

Access

The whole of the lower walls of the structure is removable in sections. The walls can be assembled to provide 10 triangular openings each 3.8 metres at their base and 2.7 metres high, or 5 larger openings each 7.5 metres at their base and 2.7 metres high. All openings are fitted with zips and Velcro.

Anchorage on soft ground is via ten 600mm by 25mm diameter stakes Anchorage on hard ground is via rawlbolts or ballast.
