Description of work
-Erection of framed dome structure with tensioned fabric cover.
Method
-All structural fittings throughout are of bolted construction.
-Tools employed are spanners, hammers, lever bars, props and rope. No power tools are needed.
-The structure is assembled from the ground up.
During assembly of the first stage(2.7 metres) it needs to be supported by timber
props.
From this point onwards the structure is self supporting.

height 6 metres.
-Access to upper levels is via two access towers(maximum height 5 metres, base size 2.5 x 1.25 metres)

-Unloading and distribution of components
-Use of ladders
-Use of access towers
-Overhead assembly
Measures Employed to Reduce Risk
-Loading and unloading supervised by one experienced rigger
-Most components are under 20 kilos
-Components over 20 kilos are to be handled by two people
-Ladder are not to be used at a steeper angle than 1 in 4 and a footman must be in attendance
-Access towers are to be used in accordance with manufacturers guidlines
-No more than two people should be on a tower at any time
-Inexperienced riggers are not permitted to work on the towers
-Hard hats are to be worn
-The public are not permited to the site during construction
-We carry a first aid kit
