Our geodesic domes are used at public, corporate and private events throughout the UK and beyond. They are designed with performance in mind, ideal for both theatre and music and are truly portable, easy to transport and quick to erect. We have developed our own distinctive style for geodesic domes and are able to produce mobile, relocatable or permanent structures from 5 metres to 30 metres in diameter. Designs are developed in conjuction with an independent company of structural engineers and all structures are subject to engineering analysis. Our geodesic domes for hire are designed to recieve imposed loadings for lighting, sound and other equipment and have excellent accoustics.

Although we are best known for building and operating geodesic domes we also have design and workshop facilities capable of manufacturing bespoke structures and generating solutions to unusual and site specific structural needs. In this capacity we have produced tensile structures, framed structures and inflatables including parade float designs.

The Dome company was founded in the UK in 1990. Our familiarity with large scale fabric construction came out of an earlier involvement with the design and building of giant inflatables. This area of work has continued to the present. In 1999 we became partners in Puca Productions set up specifically to produce inflatables street floats and able to offer both parade float rental and parade float design services. Our parade float design facilities are able to produce from concept to model and through to pattern production, sewing and painted artwork. Through our parade float rental service we have participated in most of the major parades throughout the UK and Ireland and are currently extending our work in Europe. Our expertise in this area also enables us to produce large scale promotional inflatables to order.
